Naomi Ocko

 Artistic Coordinator

Naomi Ocko joined Peter Caradonna Architecture and planning in the summer of 2005. She is currently studying Art and Mathematics at the College of William and Mary, with a concentration in Architecture.  She has a number of design experiences and has done many projects such as art and advertising for Reveille women’s a cappella, a group that she sings with.  This year, she designed business cards for Reveille.  She has also done t-shirt designs for many university events and groups. Additionally, she does much publicity work for Reveille women’s a cappella and for fundraising for Kappa Delta.  In the past she has taught ceramics at Hands on Clay Ceramic’s studio to students of all ages.

Naomi has taken many Architecture classes at the College of William and Mary, including Architecture I, Architecture II, Advanced Architecture, Two-Dimensional Art, Three-Dimensional Art, and various Art History classes. To further her understanding of architecture, design, and urbanism, she took this past semester, classes in urban planning and sociology.  For the past two years she has been awarded the J. Binford Walford Scholarship for the study of Architecture at the College of William and Mary. This past year, she attended the Virginia Design Forum of the American Institute of Architecture (Virginia Society). Additionally, she took a trip this summer to Europe, including Italy, Germany, and Spain where she studied the history of Italian Gardens and design at the Tuscan Villas in and near Florence for one month and toured Europe for one more month.  She plans to go to graduate school in the field of architecture and design once she completes her bachelor’s degree at William and Mary.
