Paul Cataldo

Architect/CAD


Paul Cataldo brings a vast compilation of experience and knowledge with him to the firm. Mr. Cataldo has successfully completed a wide verity of projects including large-scale luxury residential projects, restaurant design, major retail use buildings, and urban telecommunications centers. Paul is a graduate of New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architectural Technology and has been a member of the Peter Caradonna Architecture and Planning team since October 2004.

Paul’s experience roots from a small office in Patchogue, where during his college years he worked for Loyal Gerald Lundegard AIA a design-build old school architect. Some of Mr. Cataldo’s career highlights are times spent in the office of Clayton Morey in the town of East Hampton, where as part of a small team he designed and supervised the construction of a wide variety of projects including acting as Project Manager on a Philip Johnson residence in the Hamptons. Additionally Paul constructed several large scale computer facilities including projects for IBM and Prodigy

Paul has constructed numerous office spaces in Manhattan and White plains while a Project Manager for Equity Associates Construction Corp. Then as Partner in Designers and Builders Construction Corp. Paul hand built many new residences and even more additions and renovations, providing hands on insight to the world of building construction.

On the technical side, Paul has been a Head Systems Designer of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for Air Ideal a mechanical engineering and construction firm in Roslyn. Mr. Cataldo currently is a member of the United States Green Building Council’s Long Island Chapter, and Co-Chair of the Emerging Green Builder’s Committee.
