Since its inception in 1996, the firm has been involved with a variety of architectural projects, planning reports and feasibility studies, for both municipal governments and State government agencies.

The firms' early work was in tandem with the New York City firm of John Ciardullo Associates. Collectively we designed and completed award-winning projects, including park restoration, landscape design, schools, pools, and Port Authority projects. Despite the difference in building types, they all exhibit the high quality of a firm that cares about its work and the communities in which they are built. They excel despite the any limiting constraints that a particular project may have.

peterCARADONNArchitecture and Planning's approach to the design process is responsible for its success. Each project is examined and considered anew. First, an overview is studied, evaluating the social and physical relationships of the building in context to community. Programmatic, technical and energy requirements are considered integrally with an aesthetic philosophy. Each of these is finally melded into a unique design solution.

During each separate design phase, detailed cost estimates are tabulated based on actual market conditions (constant monitoring of costs directly with subcontractors insures the latest cost figures). Not until each of these phases has been thoroughly evaluated and presented to the client for approval, do contract documents begin.

The successful completion of a project within cost and on time is the ultimate measure of an architect's abilities.
